Crossip

Carl Anthony Brown, the founder and innovator behind CROSSIP’s unique recipe, has been perfecting the ultimate non-alcoholic sensory experience for eight years. Handpicking talent from the drinks industry, the CROSSIP team are on a mission to level up. A new website was a priotity.

Project Brief

My initial effort was to improve the website, I decided to focus on specific areas that could bring a quick and effective I user journey. I started with the designs for the re-categorisation of the recipe pages and included subtle design elements from the packaging Crossip used on their bottles. I also worked with the client & developers to implement some UX improvements through the use of design hierarchy methods as part of this project to enhance the overall user experience.

  • Creation of images and Icons

  • Hi-Fidelity Designs

The Process

As with my other projects I adopted an Agile approach and worked in iterative cycles, allowing for flexibility and rapid adaptation to evolving requirements based on regular feedback from the client. This approach facilitated a dynamic design process that was both efficient and responsive. The process was simplified as the client did not have the budget for any major UX research. Instead, I would ensure that the user had a smooth user journey by implementing common sense & simple designs and a clean layout. My designs and images where to be used in Shopify as the client wanted to update to a Shopify 2.0 theme.

The Page Designs

Using Figma I created the designs based on a chosen Shopify theme. There would be some level of theme customisation involved as I didn’t want the website to look like it was an ‘out of the box’ solution. By creating images that would complement the pages I hoped to create a solution that was cost effective, easy to build in Shopify and easily maintained by the client.

The Client is very happy with the website and continues to work with the company I work with (Squashed Pixel) and they highly recommended the the team who worked on this project which I was part off.
